[MyDaily = Seoul World Cup Stadium, Reporter Choi Byung-jin] Coach Jung Kyung-ho of Kangwon FC addressed fans with a megaphone.

Kangwon lost 2-4 to FC Seoul in the 'Hana Bank K League 1 2025' round 34 at Seoul World Cup Stadium on the 26th.

The defeat was surprising. Kangwon dominated early with aggressive pressure and effective build-up, allowing Kim Gun-hee to score in the first half. Mo Jae-hyun added another with a penalty at the start of the second half.

Yet, from the 27th minute of the second half, Kangwon conceded three goals in seven minutes. Lingard scored twice, Ryu Jae-moon equalized, and Chun Sung-hoon secured Seoul's win.

After the game, Kangwon fans gave Coach Jung a megaphone, reacting not just to this loss.

Kangwon struggles with second-half performances. Coach Jung's strategy works well in the first half but falters later.

Against FC Anyang (Round 32), Kangwon lost a 1-0 lead; against Daegu FC, a 2-0 advantage ended 2-2. In the ACLE match against Vissel Kobe, a 3-0 first-half lead became a 3-3 draw. Despite an extra-time win with Kim Gun-hee's goal, anxiety grew, leading to the loss against Seoul.

Fans showed frustration. Coach Jung apologized using a megaphone, saying in the press conference, "Fans are more disappointed. We need to improve our second-half game. I accept responsibility and will work on this."

Improving second-half play is essential, but opinions vary on the megaphone episode. Kangwon finished as runners-up last year and made Final A two years straight. They are third in ACLE with 6 points from 2 wins and 1 loss. A K League official asked, "Is this criticism fair given Kangwon's performance and scale?"

Seoul's comeback was aided by strong substitutes. This season, Kangwon's foreign player lineup has been weak. In this game, Lingard changed the game, while Kangwon lacked foreign players due to Gabriel's suspension. Achieving results with mostly domestic players is noteworthy. An official noted, "It's Coach Jung's first full season. Improving second-half and substitute strategies are key, but we should be realistic."

Coach Jung expressed his struggle, saying, "Analyzing opponents keeps me up at night. We were runners-up last year and reached Final A this year, showing growth. Fans want better results, and I will improve second halves. It’s time to unite and support each other."
